GC&E seeks an individual with experience selling physical security equipment and installation services. The qualified candidate will be well versed in IP CCTV, Access Control Systems, Biometrics, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). This Physical Security Sales position will be responsible for developing new customers within the assigned territory through the use of cold calling, referrals, vendor partners and direct mailing. This position is focused on commercial accounts in Georgia. Commercial accounts consist of Fortune 1000 businesses, general contractors, nationwide electrical contractors, engineering/design firms, and utility companies. This is a true “Hunter” sales position.

• Strategic account planning and management.
• Develop new customers and maintain customer relationships.
• Achieve quarterly revenue targets.
• Attend pre-bid conferences and prepare proposals for customer RFP and RFQ.
• Attend and assist in marketing tradeshows representing the security department.
• Conduct site surveys as necessary.
• Cold call for new business.
• Make sales calls to General Contractors and Engineering/Design Firms.
• Focus only on B2B sales opportunities.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
Spacer Image
• Applicants must have 5 years experience with security systems and solutions.
• Extensive experience with IP CCTV systems.
• Extensive training in electronics and system application software.
• Experience with Card Access Systems and IDS.
• Current alarm or access control certifications a plus.
• Prefer college degree.
• Candidate must have excellent oral and written skills to prepare customer proposals.
• Candidate must have good computer skills in MS Office, Visio and understanding of IP networks.
• Must have good driving record; pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Candidate should have basic estimating skills for security and the ability to read blue prints and take notes at pre-bid conferences.
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekend hours as needed.
• Prepare sales reports for management as required.

Overnight travel is required about 5% of the time in the Southeast.
