Position Overview:
Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the Service Department.

Essential Job Functions:
• Responsible to maintain a designated minimum level of service revenue on a monthly basis.
• Actively strives to increase service sales revenue.
• Maintains and consistently improves operational effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Serves as point of contact for customer relations issues.
• Reviews and resolves service billing complaints and issues.
• Schedules technicians and monitors their work product to insure that service requests are completed in a timely manner in accordance with department policy and established priorities.
• Determines standards of performance as a basis to review progress of personnel assigned.
• Ensures proper training of personnel assigned.
• Fosters a cooperative and harmonious climate conductive to maximize employee morale and productivity.
• Oversees daily activities of service department.
• Reviews work orders for follow-up service as needed.
• Responsible to insure that all service work is billed in a timely manner.
• Make decisions pertaining to service upgrades and any service contracts on existing installations.
• Review vehicle tracking.
• Assist foremen and technicians with technical problems.
• Review and resolve billable service reports.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Spacer Image
Minimum Requirements:
• Ten years of hands-on industry experience
• Five years management experience.
• Must be NICET II certified or higher.
• Basic understanding of electronic theory.
• Proficient experience in Microsoft Applications.
• Work requires some travel and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
