Job description:
Exciting Fire Alarm Service Technician opportunity in New York City. Duties will include the following but are not limited to: Testing of Fire alarm system as per New York City & NFPA requirements; Trouble shooting of Fire Alarm, Card Access, CCTV and Intrusion Alarm systems; Installation and of security/fire alarm and audio systems; Responds to service requests, diagnoses system malfunctions of the fire alarm and security systems and makes adjustments, repairs or replaces the equipment; Provides service and support for all aspects of a system inspection and maintenance as per New York City & NFPA requirements; Maintains accurate records of all work performed, material used and communicates any problem encountered or identified with the alarm system. Generating system status reports upon completion of testing; Assist Fire Marshall / AHJ with fire alarm acceptance tests; Performs related tasks as required.
Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
High School degree or equivalent mandatory
Electronic Trade School training desired
Installation experience a +
Excellent communication and customer service sills required.
