Technical Support Associate AES-IntelliNet Mesh Radio Alarm Communications Products
Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, the Technical Support Associate will be primarily responsible for Technical Support, Installation Certification, and Training for AES’s wireless mesh networking and security products and services for the alarm, energy, government and other industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Providing telephone, email and on-site technical support for all AES products. • Providing on-site installation and certification services. • Updating technical manuals for the installation, use and support of AES products. • Conducting technical training sessions for the installation and use of AES products. • Performing and documenting preventative and remedial system maintenance. • Participating in AES product testing.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
|
|
The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical experience in the commercial alarm industry, a working knowledge of electronics and computers, good customer service skills and a willingness to travel. Desirable credentials include:
• AES-IntelliNet installation/operation experience • Exposure to other radio/RF/wireless technology, mechanical products and electronic test equipment. • Experience with Windows and Linux and data networking • Experienced with electronic and mechanical assemblies, wiring diagrams and schematics • Experience in conducting technical training sessions. • Ability to share on-call responsibilities for technical support. • Ability to travel up to 30% * (Optional - Bilingual in Spanish/English would be a plus)
