|
GENERAL SUMMARY G4S Technology has an open position of Program Manager, Physical Security Maintenance Programs. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing all operations functions and staff related to our Physical Security Maintenance group which is centered around electronic security technologies. Projects and contracts will include multiple customers and locations in North America and possibly internationally. The position requires coordination with customers, subcontractors, other G4S Technology LLC operations managers, and representatives of other related G4S companies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS • Leads, coordinates, and controls maintenance staff and local subcontractors required for a wide-ranging array of customers.
• Coordinates with other G4S Technology LLC managers; and managers of other related G4S companies as required.
• Provides routine checks and corrective action plans to address each maintenance contract’s adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Directs maintenance staff in formulating goals, strategic plans, budgets, reports, and specifications.
• Supplements the Business Development and Project Development Departments in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the maintenance arena. Assists in contacting, qualifying, and pursuing leads for new business opportunities.
• Participates in the development of written proposals for new business development opportunities as well as the development of associated cost proposals
• Oversees and coordinates the setup of new office locations in a given geographical area as necessary to support new contracts.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
|
|
Qualifications: Five to ten years of progressively more responsible field construction and management experience. Any discipline acceptable, but civil, mechanical or electrical preferred. Desirable work experience includes contracts management, project management, QA/QC, and estimating. Extensive experience in the area of electronic security systems and maintenance programs is highly desirable. Specific systems include, but not limited to closed circuit television systems (CCTV), access control systems (ACS), intrusion detection systems (IDS) and perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS). Specific knowledge and experience also desirable with the integration of these systems and life safety systems. Management experience required. A BS/BA degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or construction engineering preferred, but not mandatory. An equivalent combination of education or experience will be considered.
